If Mapsource is running, quit it before proceeding. First, it'll help to have the latest version of Mapsource and the newest firmware for your GPSr. 1) Download and unzip the "Mapsource Installable" version of the map you want. 2) Double-click the .exe file and proceed through the installation wizard. 2) Run Mapsource. 3) Select the gpssledmaps.com map you just installed from the drop-down menu (first arrow below). 4) Click on the "Map Tool" (second arrow below). 5) Click on the sections of the map that cover the area you need. 6) If you want to send other maps to your GPS (Topo for instance), select the name of the map package from the dropdown menu (see step #3) 7) Select the sections of that map which you want to upload. The map sections that will be uploaded appear under the "Maps" tab on the left.
10) Click "Send". That should do it. The maps you have installed can be turned on and off in the meu on your GPS. |
