How To Make Your Own GPS Map

How to make a standalone installable map:

Before we begin, USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. It worked for me, but if you mess up your system, it's not my fault! :)

1) Compile your map(s) with cGPSMapper, and save into a new directory, called "maps" for example.

2) Copy the cGPSMapper program to your "maps" directory.

3) Download and install "Inno Setup" from here. You don't need the QuickStart Pack.

4) Fill out the following form:

8 Character Name
8 characters or less, and not the name of any of your .img files. Something like "UPTrails" or "RyansMap"
Map version
Any number over 100 - if this is your first version, use 100. If this is an update of an older map, use a higher number, etc.
Product code
Something over 40. Try to pick a number not used by another Mapsource map.
Least detailed layer
Bit value of the least detailed (but not empty) layer on your map
Mapsource Name
Name of map as it appears in the product dropdown list in Mapsource
Copyright 1
Copyright 2

If you only have one .img, enter it first and leave the rest blank.
